Clinging to a 2-1 lead heading into the third period Cherry Hill East would score four times to pull away from Mainland 6-1 in late game action in Voorhees. The win gave East an 11-1 record at the holiday break, just two points ahead of HLV. Ben Isakovich scored the only goal of the first period, his fourth goal of the year as Cherry Hill led 1-0. David Cutler would make it 2-0 early in the second period getting his first of two on the night and East led 2-0. Mainland would close the gap to 2-1 in the final ninety seconds of the period as Anthony Santa Maria scored to give Mainland some momentum going into the third period.

Six different players scored for Clearview as they defeated Mainland 6-4 in SJHSHL action played in Voorhees. The View would use a three goal first period to take charge with Christopher Geary putting the View up 1-0 just over three minutes into the game. Mainland would tie the game at 1-1 midway through the period on a goal by Jack Hassett, his second of the season. Goals by Justin Dalonzo and Derek McKinley on the power play gave the View a 3-1 lead after one period. The goals came ninety seconds apart and when Brendan Bainbridge scored just over one minute into the second period the View led 4-1.

Eight different players scored for Cherry Hill as they rolled past Mainland 11-1 in Tier II action played in Voorhees. Four goals in the first period jump started Cherry Hill and they never looked back. Goals by Sean McKenna, in the opening forty five seconds, Ethan Chase three minutes later, Johnny Pearson on the power play at the eleven minute mark and Chase’s second of the night late in the period had Cherry Hill leading 4-0 after one. Tom Papa scored in the first ninety seconds of the second period to increase the lead to 5-0 before Anthony Santa Maria would get the lone Mainland goal at the four minute mark.

Kyle Peters scored three goals and Matthew Kilkenny added two as HLV opened the season with an 8-1 win over Mainland at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Peters scored both goals of the opening period, one early and one late as HLV jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one period. Matthew Saavas and Kilkenny scored goals ten seconds apart early in the second period to make it 4-0. Peters would complete his hat trick at the four minute mark with Saavas and Kilkenny assisting and the lead was 5-0. Bryan Knaust would connect on the power play at the nine minute mark and HLV was in control at 6-0.
