Ralph Triboletti had a hat trick in the third period as Mainland defeated Riverfront 6-3 in a Tier II contest played in Voorhees. Robert Conlan added two goals for Mainland. Riverfront led 2-1 after the first period on goals by Nathan Strunk and Matt Fell, sandwiched around a Mainland goal by Mike Liberty. After a scoreless second period, Mainland would respond with a five goal third period. At the thirty-eight second mark Conlan would tie the game at 2-2 and twenty-eight seconds later Triboletti would give Mainland the lead at 3-2.

Clearview broke open a close game scoring five goals in the second period as they pulled away from Riverfront 8-3 in Tier II action in Voorhees. Thomas Rockey led the offense with a hat trick and Connor Reagan added a goal and four assists as the View remain undefeated at 8-0. Rockey opened the scoring four minutes into the game but Riverfront would tie the game at 1-1 as Anthony Machion scored just over one minute later. The View took the lead for good as Rockey got his second of the night late in the period and Clearview led 2-1 after one period.

Hunter Colella and Jake Nole each scored twice as Clearview skated past Riverfront 6-0 in a Tier II contest played at the Igloo in Mt. Laurel on Friday night. Logan Graham stopped all 21 shots for the View as they improved to 7-0. We were scoreless until the late stages of the first period when Nole would connect for his first of the night and first of the season. Early in the second period Vincent Marco would make it 2-0 connecting on his third of the season.

Logan Graham stopped all 18 shots as Clearview eased by Riverfront 7-0 in Tier II action in Voorhees. Hunter Colella, Gavin Reagan and Konnor Savvas each scored two goals to pace the offense for the View. Steve Lento opened the scoring for the View scoring a power play goal midway through the first period. Late in the period Reagan would make it 2-0 as the View would launce eighteen shots in the first period. Early in the second Savvas would get his first of two on the night and the lead was 3-0. Colella would get his both, just two minutes apart, one of them coming on the power play and the View took a 5-0 lead into the third period.

Brayden McFadden scored three goals and Nathan Strunk added two as Riverfront defeated PPACS 7-4 for their first regular season win. Riverfront struggled last season going winless, so getting their first victory early in the season is a good sign of progress for the Raiders. Luz Cooper gave the Raiders an early 1-0 lead scoring just two minutes into the game and Brendon Wetherspoon getting the lone assist. Strunk would make it 2-0 just about five minutes later with Matthew Fell getting the assist. Steven Brice would put PPACS on the board with less than four minutes remaining in the period, but seven seconds later Riverfront’s Tyler Seeton restored the two goal lead at 3-1.

Deaglan Kelly and Frederick Balderman each scored two goals as St Joe’s defeated Riverfront 9-3 in Tier II action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. St. Joe’s led 1-0 on a goal by Corey Price three minutes into the game. We stayed that way until the ten minute mark and St Joe’s would get goals from Balderman and Tyler Eahart ninety seconds apart and the lead was 3-0. Brennen McCarty would put Riverfront on the board seconds later to cut the lead to 3-1. Cooper Root would counter less than one minute later and St. Joe’s would take a 4-1 lead into the second period.

Cherry Hill scored five goals in the second period on its way to a 9-1 win against Riverfront in the season opener for both teams. John Gallen paced the offense with a hat trick as the Cougars looked very strong in their debut. Jacob Mutschler and Elliott Schon scored two minutes apart in the opening period to give Cherry Hill a 2-0 lead after one period. Mikey Bottalico would score a short-handed goal in the first minute of the second period for a 3-0 lead and we would stay that way until there was just under five minutes left. The Cougars would score four in the final four minutes to break open the game.
